The Foundation
The foundation of this company came during prayer time. It's God's company and will be ran according to His will. During my prayer time I was seeking an answer to break a cycle of "just getting by" and I was led to Psalms 34:8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
Sunday October 9th, 2011 I was praying and seeking God for revelation. He gave me an idea and a name through verse as well as a vision of what's to come. How this business is SEED to build upon and build the Kingdom.
Monday October 10th, 2011 I shared my revelation and vision with a close friend. She had been fasting that day and as soon as she heard the idea she leaped up from her chair as her spirit bared witness.
Tuesday October 11th, 2011 I shared my vision and revelation with my Pastor and he bared witness to it as well. Telling me to trademark it as soon as possible!
Wednesday October 12th, 2011 coming from the world of PR I know what's necessary to build a company but I also know where I'll need help at. I contacted a PR colleague who became excited by the idea, further confirmation.
Later I shared this idea with my Mother, who though supportive of my many business ventures has never given her seal of approval. But to this one she did.
So now here I am setting up the skeletal foundation for all things O Taste and see - Online presence, paperwork, recipes and more. I'm SO excited and so in AWE of God right now, I give him ALL the glory!
1 Kings 17:
12And she said, As the Lord your God lives, I have not a loaf baked but only a handful of meal in the jar and a little oil in the bottle. See, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and bake it for me and my son, that we may eat it--and die.
13Elijah said to her, Fear not; go and do as you have said. But make me a little cake of [it] first and bring it to me, and afterward prepare some for yourself and your son.
14For thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: The jar of meal shall not waste away or the bottle of oil fail until the day that the Lord sends rain on the earth.
15She did as Elijah said. And she and he and her household ate for many days.
16The jar of meal was not spent nor did the bottle of oil fail, according to the word which the Lord spoke through Elijah.
